About

Since I was young, I’ve loved music — singing, moving to rhythm — gifts I inherited from my mother. When she died unexpectedly when I was eight, my musical training abruptly stopped. As I grew older, my love for music never waivered, but I never developed the confidence to write or perform.
Years later, in 2015, I found myself in a deep, painful season, feeling broken and lost. With loving support, I found my way through. In 2017, I finally gave myself permission to write, not believing I had much to say. Yet the struggles of those years had opened something within me, and healing songs began to pour out
My songs have been such medicine for me — prayers and guideposts on this challenging and beautiful journey of life. They help me live more honestly and connect more deeply with myself, others, and Mother Earth. As I began sharing them, I realized they weren’t just for me.
My deep hope is that you find your own medicine in these songs too. If you do, I’ll remain inspired to continue sharing in this way. It feels like a time for all of us to remember why we’re here — and step forward to play our part.
This continues to come through as a central theme in many of my songs, as from “Be A Star” below ~
Will you rise up, will you rise above?
When the world conspires to bring you down, will you open up to love?
Will you rise up, will you sing your song?
We need you more than ever right now, won’t you come along?
